january Following Jesus into our new adventure of serving Jesus in Thailand, Matt and Amy both quit our jobs and settled into a temporary living situation with Amy’s parents.

february Celebrated Jedidiah’s first birthday and our fourth wedding anniversary. Embarked on  a cross-country trip, stopping in to visit our friend Deb in Omaha, Matt’s dad in Saint Louis, and his sister and their family in South Carolina before heading to Arkansas to see more dear friends.

 

march Jed’s first steps. Visited Amy’s sister and brother-in-law in Texas during our whirl-wind cross country trip. Sold our car in preparation for our big move.

 

april Made the big move to Thailand! Celebrated our first Songkran and established our first home abroad.

 

may Discovered we were expecting our second child! Started language school.

 

june Purchased and started riding our motorbike. First date in Bangkok.

 

july Jedidiah’s first haircut. We were unexpectedly blessed with an opportunity to buy a second-hand car at a good price. Our family took a vacation to Kanchanaburi! We loved going to the mountains and seeing waterfalls. Jed got to meet his first elephant.

 

august Began going on outreaches with Dton Naam and teaching our current students. Taught a three week course on the prophetic at Thailand House of Prayer. Family trip up north to visit our dear friend, Cheryl, near Chiang Rai.

 

september Moved into our new house.

 

october Privileged to attend a seminar on Thai culture and reaching the Thai.

 

november Attended the Love Revolution Conference with Danny Silk. Made our first from scratch pumpkin pie. Celebrated our first Thanksgiving in Thailand with the team at Dton Naam and later with friends. Our friend Cheryl moved in with us so she can study Thai in Bangkok.

 

december Jedidiah transitioned to his big boy bed. Attended a birthing class. Finishing full-time Thai school. Excitedly anticipating the birth of Baby Baldwin #2 as our hearts fill with the wonder of the Savior’s birth.

We are thrilled about all that this next year holds for us as we will begin serving full-time at Dton Naam. We are excited to see lives transformed as we partner with Jesus to see the Gospel go forth in Thailand.
